Crying Dwarf Left Out in Rain

Next time you travel to Scotland, leave your mobility scooter at home if you're under 4 feet tall and you hope to utilize public transit.

A DWARF comic is at war with a bus firm after they banned her mobility scooter.

Stand-up star Tanyalee Davis revealed she was twice knocked back by Lothian Buses as she struggled to get home after a night out in Edinburgh.

She said: "It was five in the morning, pouring with rain, and I just wanted to get home.

"But the driver said that they didn't allow mobility scooters, even though there was barely anyone on the bus.

"A woman on the bus said she had seen me on TV and asked the driver to let me on board, but he said he didn't care...

"We argued with the bus driver and eventually he just shut the door and drove off. I was left sitting in the rain in tears. It was a nightmare."

A Lothian Buses spokesperson said: "Under accessibility rules, scooters are defined as an alternative to public transport as they have a travel range of 12-20 miles."
